In times of…

…. change, learners inherit the Earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.

– Eric Hoffer

Leaders are not…

… as we are often led to think, people who go along with huge crowds following them. Leaders are people who go their own way without caring, or even looking to see, whether anyone is following them. “Leadership qualities” are not the qualities that enable people to attract followers, but those that enable them to do without them. They include, at the very least, courage, endurance, patience, humor, flexibility, resourcefulness, stubbornness, a keen sense of reality, and the ability to keep a cool and clear head, even when things are going badly. True leaders, in short, do not make people into followers, but into other leaders.

– John Holt

You…

… can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start…you will.

– Stephen King

… your own learning is a part of taking charge of your life, which is the sine qua non in becoming an integrated person

– Warren G Bennis

You can have…

anything you want if you are willing to give up the belief that you can’t have it

–Robert Anthony

You can never…

cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore

Twenty years from….

now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover

– Mark Twain

Never doubt that…..

…. a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.

– Margaret Mead

If people…

… aren’t calling you crazy, you aren’t thinking big enough.

– Richard Branson

People try so hard…….

….. to believe in leaders now, pitifully hard. But we no sooner get a popular reformer or politician or soldier or writer or philosopher — a Roosevelt, a Tolstoy, a Wood, a Shaw, a Nietzsche, than the cross-currents of criticism wash him away. No man can stand prominence these days…..  it is the surest path to obscurity. People get sick of hearing the same name over and over.

– F Scott Fitzgerald
